Hello!

I’m glad you are here and hope you will make this a regular stop. As I continue to increase content through blog posts, devotionals, and podcasts, I hope you will find encouragement and inspiration to persevere on your faith journey.

My name is Georges. I’m a former pastor who’s walked through faith, doubt, burnout, and back again—not always in that order. I’ve wrestled with God, with myself, and with the strange beauty of life. Now, I write from that in-between space—where questions are welcome, and where grace shows up in unexpected ways.

Through Qoheleth, I offer reflections that are raw, honest, and quietly hopeful. You won’t find easy answers here. What you will find is permission to be human, space to breathe, glimpses of meaning in the mess, and an invitation to trust Jesus in the process.

Why “Qoheleth”?

The name comes from the book of Ecclesiastes. Qoheleth is a voice that dares to ask the hard questions about life, meaning, work, and faith. He doesn’t offer polished conclusions—but invites us into deeper reflection.

I chose this name because it reflects the tension many of us feel: holding on to faith while not denying reality. Living with wonder even when clarity is elusive. Qoheleth is for those who are navigating this beautiful, complicated life with open eyes and honest hearts.

I hope you’ll join me here and find encouragement on your journey.

Life is a beautiful mess—a desynchronized dance of unplanned chaos. We move through it, searching for who we are and what we’re meant to do. Along the way, we juggle the many relationships that carry us forward. We reach for religion, success, entertainment—anything that might offer a sense of order, understanding, or control. This blog is an honest exploration of how we can stay afloat, encounter grace, and discover peace in the middle of it all.
